Harvestime 12th-13th October, 2024

Harvestime will  be over the weekend of October 12th and 13th.

The venues will have plenty to offer visitors. There will be opportunities to enjoy the local orchards, see, hear and smell cider and perry being made and taste and buy many different varieties of apples, local ciders, perries and apple juices.

We are still putting together final details of our 2024 programme which will be published here towards the end of August – please keep checking back.

Harvest Happenings

Visit Herefordshire is promoting their Apples for Autumn campaign, encouraging people to come and visit Herefordshire over the apple harvesting season to enjoy the best Herefordshire can offer.  Breathe in the apple-scented air, enjoy the landscape as it begins to blaze with colour and celebrate our cider heritage.

The Big Apple is delighted to be working alongside others this year to place apples right at the heart of Herefordshire under the umbrella of Hereford AppleFest.

Bus Service

Daffodil Line

Annie Elizabeth
“Annie Elizabeth” travelled on the Daffodil bus carrying details of our programme.

Now in its second year  The Daffodil Line community bus service operates all through the weekend between Ledbury, Much Marcle, Newent and Ross-on-Wye.

The bus operates a ‘request stop’ service and will stop anywhere that is safe.  Just let the driver know where you would like to get off – the Memorial Hall, top of Hellens’ drive, near the top of the track to Gregg’s Pit or (on Sunday only) Westons Cider.

Day tickets are available and English bus passes also accepted.
